The Canada Revenue Agency (“CRA”) has had several names in the past from Departments of Inland Revenue in 1927 to Canada Customs and Revenue Agency (“CCRA”) in 1999. After December 2013, the Canadian customs and border enforcement separated and CRA was born. Today, Canada’s highest tax authority is solely referred to as The Canada Revenue Agency and by no other name.
